Each kit contains the materials needed to repair damaged threads in engines and other vehicle components, and more: thread inserts, drills, taps, manual installation spindles and breakers.

The kit can be used to repair threads of sizes M5 / M6 / M8 / M10 / M12.

Drills and taps are made from HSS high-speed steel.
Robust stainless steel spiral inserts provide good internal threads resistant to temperature variations and corrosion.

Instructions for use:

• Use a drill to make a hole
• Use a one-step tap to machine the thread into the hole
• Insert the spiral insert using the setting pin
• Use the breaker to break off the protruding end of the insert

The repaired thread is ready to use.

• 5 taps (1 pass): M5 x 0.8, M6 x 1.0, M8 x 1.25, M10 x 1.5, M12 x 1.75
• 5 HSS drills: 5.1 - 6.3 - 8.3 - 10.3 - 12.5 mm
