Technical specifications:

Each set contains the equipment needed to repair damaged threads in engines and other vehicle components, and more: thread inserts, drills, taps, manual installation spindles and breakers.

The kit can repair threads up to size M6.

• The drill and tap are made from HSS high-speed steel.
• Robust stainless steel spiral inserts provide good internal threads resistant to temperature variations and corrosion.

Instructions for use:

1. Use a drill to make a hole
2. Use a one-step tap to machine the thread into the hole
3. Insert the spiral insert using the setting pin
4. Use the breaker to break off the protruding end of the insert
5. The repaired thread is ready to use.
